Sometimes I feel like a total moron here in a Singapore. We are staying at friends place in a wonderful compound. To leave the compound you need a card and there is a sensor near the gate you just tap your card against. Actually, to use the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) you get a card as well, which you have to tap. At both places I’m challenged. I couldn’t get out of the compound. I tapped and tapped on some stupid metal box and the gate didn’t open. After walking back to the house and asking our friend how to open it I still didn’t couldn’t open it ! Luckily the gardener was around and opened it for me. I tell you, I’m technically challenged !
