Burma and suffering

There is a lot in the news about Burma at the moment and I think its just great that BBC and CNN think ”the world is interested”. Yes, there are many people who care about what is going on !! With my kids sick and all, its so hard to find time write more but I do want to say that I am following the news and I do hope that Burma will take steps towards democracy and not away from it! Those monks are incredibly brave to go on the streets like that… most will probably pay dearly for standing up to the regime! I just want to point you to a Free Burma Rangers website. FBR works together with other humanitarian groups to bring help, hope and love to people in the war zones of Burma. The problems in Burma aren’t new.. sadly there is of suffering. Lets keep hoping for peace in Burma!

It’s a terrible shame there isn’t more oil in Burma, then someone would have done something a long time ago. Or is that me being too cynical?
I have been watching what is going on in Burma and I agree with you, Max. Look at Darfur. It doesn’t have any oil either. Sigh…
I agree with Max and Sally.. and yet.. would it really help if the same thing happend as in Iraq?
