Voice lessons and Voice Recital in Chiang Mai
Oct 7th, 2007 by Lillian
My life is full of music
I heard some great Jazz a place called ‘ The Northern Gate, Jazz co-op’ . Apparently the trumpet player composed all the pieces himself. Yes, I’m totally in awe! The atmosphere there was great. Rain outside, good drinks, great music and friends. What more could I want?
Today I had a singing lesson and tomorrow I get to spend a couple of hours at a voice workshop! How exciting! On Wednesday choir practice, Thursday and Friday rehearsal for the recital on Saturday the 13th October. If you want ot come and enjoy chorus music, trio, duets etc sung by teachers and students of the Voice Studio, you can phone the office at 053 420123 and buy a ticket for Baht 200. Or just show up at 6pm at Chiang Mai University Art Museum and buy a ticket there :-) I’ll be singing.. thats all I’m going to give away here haha.

Nice to know you love singing too. I used to sing with a choir in Singapore, and now working in China, I have joined the International Festival Chorus of Beijing. In December we will sing at the Forbidden City Hall Handel’s Messiah (among other things) We are “only” amateurs who love music but with enough commitment to keep it interesting. When I next get to Chiangmai I’d love to join you in music-making. Coffee is on me! Thanks for all the stories. Wishes to your family and save some for yourself.
You are singing in a choir! That is nice! I can’t sing but I love music!
Good luck with your recital !
Good luck with your singing classes. You should put up a video of your choir’s performance.
