Margarita on Beach

Running away is never really an option is it? But its a lovely dream..this week is just not my week and I can’t even think of something positive to write, oh yes I thought of something, I didn’t kill the motorbike driver, I only drove into her with my car and accidently hit her so bad that her knees will hurt of for weeks, her bike needs to be repaired and so does my car, and because of that I didn’t really miss my voice lesson, I can have another one today…. Hmmm another positive thing my son has a different antibiotic and with Ventolin he can finally go a couple of minutes without coughing, He’s only been on antibiotics for 4 days.. Oh another positive thing, if I get kicked out of the choir for missing it last night cos I had to take my Son7 to hospital, I can always join again next year, after the performance. Another positive thing, if I can’t go and workout this week I can always workout again sometime in the future . ( sarcasm drip drip) Yes , this is living in Chiang Mai. Kids get sick alot , traffic is awful, everything takes forever and if you are a mum, don’t look after the kids yourself!! Do get a nanny. Why look after the kids yourself . Oh now I’m rolling, got a better idea…put them in a boarding school. There are plenty of those.. even Christian ones if it suits your fancy!.If not you might end up dreaming about margaritas on the beach, like me??( Not to mention ’sex on the beach’…) The most positive thing… I could get that flight straight to the beach and drink a Margarita on the beach…(Not being sarcastic eather..)
I could if I really wanted to….

At least you know where you could/would escape too. For a lot of people the margarita/beach – and supermega fantasy – “sex on the beach” scenario will remain forever just a dream.
As we know Paradise is always somewhere else.
For me – right now – Paradise would be snorkelling just off the beach on Siladen Island, Indonesia. I’d do without the sex and the margarita, really. Just to feel warm the salty water and watch the millions upon millions of fish teeming and shoaling around me… mmm… and the only sound would be a coconut thwunking onto the silky sand.
I hope the lady gets better and the kids stop coughing and that you get at least a margarita. One out of three isn’t too outrageous to hope for is it?
i’ve been reading your blog for a little bit… guess that means i was lurking. but now i’m not. we’re moving to asia next summer. it looks like it will be chiang mai, my husband is there right now. i’ve been trying to get a feel for chiang mai from your blog, but this post makes me a just teeny bit concerned. and before you ask, no we’ve never lived abroad. my husband is the only one who’s been to asia. i’ve been to canada. and yes, perhaps we’re crazy. i’ve enjoyed reading and will continue.
