Voice Studio Recital

Last night I sang ‘Caro Mio Ben’ written by Giuseppe Glordani. My first solo. I was sooo nervous. Singing in-front of about 200 people was intimidating and the sound got absorbed more, yes, everything was different! Am I pleased with myself? I can sing the song much better than I did last night, and I got stage fright, so, considering that I think I did OK. The feedback I got from the baritone who teaches as well, was encouraging. ”Considering it was your first recital you did well.” Sorry folks, no video.. in the whole stress of getting a babysitter, dinner planned, and ofcourse getting dressed I forgot to ask someone to film me. But here’s a not so great picture of me on stage, with my beautiful black dress.. you get the idea…
And here the choir I get to do alot of voice training with. Many of them have the most amazing voices! I’m very honored to be able to learn from and with them…

You have done great. I would never have thought 15 years ago to see you on stage singing classical music. I’m proud of you that you went for it inspite of all the problems during that week.
