Sms is short for ‘Short Message Service’. Text messages sent from one mobile phone to another. Its big here in Asia and also Europe. My American friends here in Chiang Mai tell me they miss it when they go back because its not so popular there.. Now ‘transplantingme‘ asked me what it is so I guess Americans really don’t use it ! Who would have thought that… Well, I use it every day sometimes almost every hour. Usually its much easier than phoning someone especially if there are many people around  me. I often send short messages written something like this : how r u? goin out 2nite? miss u cu 2mrw etc. Yes the words get shorter and shorter. Its fun.
