Wikipedia says...Advent (from the Latin word advenio, meaning “to come”, “the coming of Christ our saviour”) is a holy season of the Christian church, the period of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, also known outside the Church as the season of Christmas.
I’ve got an ”Adventskranz”, trying to keep some ’swiss tradition’ going. I bought it at the market…Yes, yes real plastic

Schönen 1. Advent ! It’s pouring rain outside here and we’ve been playing board games and making cookies all day.
