What we do on a day off…
Dec 11th, 2007 by Lillian
Yesterday was Constitution Day and it was a public holiday. We packed our three kids and dog in the car and went climbing. What a beautiful day we had ! I’m SOOO glad the children are getting older. They can belay each other now which means I get to climb, rather than supervise and belay all the time! Our son7 just talked non stop while climbing. He loved swinging and pretending he was superman. So cute but we did have to tell him to stop talking and concentrate on climbing a bit! My daughter13 just loved being out in the jungle with her dog, and of-course climbing as well… Son11 said, ”I wish I could just go climbing whenever I feel like”. Yes, I wish he could too. I wouldn’t mind letting them go to ‘The Peak’, an artificial climbing wall at the night bazaar but so often the staff there are drunk or otherwise high on drugs it really isn’t a safe environment for a child to be in…. I guess we’ll be driving out to the Crazy Horse more often in the future ! I don’t mind!
