Bye bye Facebook
Jan 28th, 2008 by Lillian
.. I just deactivated my account on Facebook. WOW feels SOOO radical. So liberating. I just can’t keep up with all those sites I’m on and Facebook is the first to go. Sorry to those few who poked me or wanted online pillowfights. Come here, and leave a comment instead !!

What do you think about the fact, that you cant delete your profile there, but deactivating only? Your data is still there and you have no possibility to delete it.
did you delete the last comment? if yes, why did you do that?
Kles I find it very disturbing that you can only deactive you profile and not delete it! As for your comment, I use Akismet and some comments are held back for my approval.. no harm intended
Adam, thanx for asking.. it wasn’t a big exam but he passed. As for the kids, they competed well and had fun. Didn’t expect them to bring home prizes as they were in groups with older competitors.
I’m thinking of deactivating my facebook account too, I’d far rather just e-mail my friends and have instant gratification. Having to check five ways from Sunday to hear from someone is aggravating!
Aha, so I am not alone. I rarely go on Facebook these days and was wondering about doing the same thing. I really can’t see the point in it all now. Bah humbug!
I’ve never even joined Facebook. I don’t have enough time.
