Equestrian Chiang Mai
Feb 2nd, 2008 by Lillian
Last Saturday my daughter13 and I left the house at 6.40am and headed out to the Army Squadron on Mae Rim Road. The first ‘Chiang Mai Friendly Cup’
horse riding this year. My daughter was rider nr12 out of 24. She did the Preliminary 1.1 which means she had to do things like ”Circle right 20m diameter working trot, change rein in free walk allowing the horse to lower and stretch out head and neck whiles maintaining contact, working canter left leg. ”
Competition’s like this are quite a challenge. I really admire how she was able to stay calm. If the rider is nervous, the horse gets nervous !! So its crucial for the rider to be calm. This isn’t easy with Judges and everyone else watching you! A great learning experience and I’m sure she’ll be competing at the next equestrian event.

She looks great and we are very proud of her. Love, Mum
Agreed - it’s very hard to stay calm when having so many people watching. It’s cool you have kids that like the outdoors so much!
hey wir gratulieren!
man erkennt sie ja fast nicht wieder unter diesem reiterdress!
She looks like she sits a horse very well. Oh how I miss my youth sometimes:(
