I agree with your take on things. I think TCK's get their identities from the environments they live in and that it's not necessarily an automatic process that bestows a "TCK identity"--though international schools have a way of doing that. Still, so many feel lost and "identity-less" until they are told, "hey, you are a TCK." Sorry for the double comment, but I just saw some other posts of yours about TCKs.
