So where does the Emmental Cheese come from? The Emmental ofcourse:-) Which is in Switzerland. We went to a factory here, where we watched how the cheese is made. So interesting. And then I got to taste some cheese.. hmmmmm delicious!!! Yesterday was a beautiful day with the sun-shining and the Emmental really showed itself from the best side. We were invited to visit a big farm.. I had forgotten that I get hayfever.. I was sneezing and had teary eyes but otherwise it was great. My kids got to see where milk really comes from, feed chickens, ride a horse etc etc. In the evening we did another presentation of our work in Thailand. We are still totally tired.. everything is totally overwhelming !

Cheese gets stored for one year and has to get turned daily.The longer you store it the stronger the taste. One of those things weighs 100 kg.

I do like Emmental cheese. It has a rather strong unique aroma and it tastes nice. However, some of my friends hate it. I guess it’s like durian. You either like or you don’t.
