Jogging, where to live etc rant
Aug 6th, 2008 by Lillian
I love jogging in Switzerland. The air is so clean and fresh and I can actually jog at 10 am without having a heat stroke. There are so many paths and roads to take that it never gets boring. I think if I lived here longer I would try and jog for 40-60 and get better equipment. eg sportshoes that don’t let the water in, a waterproof sports jacket and gloves. Haha, see I am becoming local. I want to buy quality clothes.. for crying outloud I don’t recognise that as being me. Time to go back to Thailand I’d say! I want to go back to our house, in a way go home but I also want to live in Germany. Buy a nice house in a little village and join the local choir, eat döner kebab every Sunday. I also want to live in Bern, or no I want to live in the countryside. In an old farmhouse. Or I would like to go and live in PNG, or Burma or hey Cambodia could use nurses. But then I remember I have 3 kids. Chiang Mai is a not a bad place to raise kids. Or is it? What about the smog? They don’t have all the possibilities kids here have. Here in Switzerland there are so many clubs, youth groups, camps etc they can join.My head is spinning. I guess you just can’t have it all. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want it all ![]()

I can relate to wanting it all…and all your wants sound fantastic! After being in the Bahamas for a few days, I can see myself living there, I can see myself living in the Big Apple, Italy, France…but then I can’t see my family joining me for the ride. Oh, well. It doesn’t hurt to dream.
tönt wie ein “schleuderprogramm” in der waschmaschine…… verstehen kann ich es; sind eigentlich ganz normale fragen…..
