My Thailand Diary

The kids have started school again. My daughter is in 5th Grade ‘Realschule’ and my oldest son is in 3rd grade and my youngest in Kindergarten. To be honest I was glad to see them go this morning. Sounds a bit mean, doesn’t it but 7 weeks of non stop child-caring is a long time. All our baby-sitters were out of town and my husband worked most of the time so it really was up to me. Most of our friends left for Europe or where ever so there weren’t many kids for them to play with. So it was pretty much up to ”mummy”
Today I can finally go back to the gym.. I’m  worried about how much weight I’ve put on these last week. (I don’t have a scale at home) Unfortunately I don’t loose weight when I’m stressed..some people do, and I don’t belong to them.
Yesterday I did major food shopping at Carrefour. I usually shop at Lotus but I need some change. Different set up but pretty much the same stuff. Its embarrassing when the kids complained there is nothing to eat.. I’m a full time mum so there really should be food in the house ! Well there is now, so they better enjoy it while it lasts I can’t believe how much they all eat!!! I mean, even my 4 year old eats more than me ! hmmmmmmmmm

I have to finish reading the Third Culture Kid book by Saturday so I have something intelligent to say at the book club I’ve read the chapters that interest me and now I have to read the other ones…

ps did you know the word blabbing means ”to reveal secrets by indiscreet talk” ?hmmmm
