Thailand in chaos
Sep 2nd, 2008 by Lillian
Till now we’ve been spared from all the chaos happening around the rest of Thailand. But tomorrow things might change. Apparently there will be a nationwide strike. Bangkok Post wrote here.
Sawit Kaewwan, secretary-general of the State Enterprise Labour Relations Confederation, said the unions will cut water and electricity supplies mainly to agencies dealing with security, such as the police, targeting provincial police offices. Telephone lines to government agencies and the houses of cabinet ministers will also be disconnected.
Yes, you read it right! Supplies mainly to agencies dealing wtih security..Yes, I’m a little worried. If you don’t hear from us or can’t call.. you will know that they shut down a lot more than we know about today. Scarry seriously.

Prayers for you and your family
It is an odd sensation to live inside a CNN report… we have done it a few times. Often what is reported is a long way from what has been happening outside our window.
Stay safe and calm.. this too shall pass.
We are thinking of you and hope all will be well.
Brian.. thanx
Lynda it is strange. Life goes on as usual. I’m glad. Spoilt rich white girl but glad.
