I remember a side walk singer who used to sing in Bern. Its too long ago to remember what week day she sung but I do remember her. She wore punk clothes and played the guitar. The one song I still remember was ” These boots”. She sung it with the rusty, sexy voice. And now, at the other side of the world, watching UBC I heard the same song again. A country(?) singer called Jessica Simpson.
The Chorus goes : These boots are made for walking, that’s just what they’ll do. One of these days these shoes are gonna walk all over you.
I still love the song but I have to tell you, the way the side walk singer played it and sung it was WAY better than that video clip I watched this evening.
