This morning, 6.15 am I went to check the river. All the water was gone, the road dry and the river much lower. Still very high but after the flood it would be safe to say MUCH lower. All depends on our point of view. .. The sand bags are piled up nicely.. till the next flood. Rainy season can go through till end of October….. But the sun is shining, clothes are drying and the inspite of incredible tiredness everyones mood is quite good !

I hear ya! It’s just what you have to put up with when you live in Asia! My neighbours don’t care at all….all just part of life - the ebbs and the flows, the good and the bad.
