I had a maid for about 7 years and then we moved house and she quit. Now I've done everything alone and getting so sick of it. Someone recommended her so i know she comes recommended! People who work for you, like children, will test your limits to see what they can get away with and a maid is no different. I've been through 2 maids. The first one was an unreliable alcoholic who also happened to do an excellent job, the second was reliable and lazy. I'm fortunate that neither ever tried to steal from me, but I have friends who used to have their cutlery mysteriously disappear of all things.
