Rain in the morning
its hard to get up
clouds cover the sky
emptying over our land
water dripping off the roofs
roads covered in puddles
anxious looks to the river
the relief of what I see
I pour a coffee
listening
this morning I’m glad
its only rain !

Nice poem.
It looks like something from the movies - its like storms, typhoons and flood all around the World.
In fact its more like we get instant information.
Frequency of terrible events is not worst than before.
The big difference is that now when something is happening we know it instantly.
I’m a bit tired of dark clouds in Bangkok too, I guess it’s nothing compared to Chiang Mai now.
