Chiang Mai flooded again…

The river is rising. It isn’t a rumor ! Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai Land, etc are flooded!
We’ve had some rain showers this afternoon and the sky to the north looks dark.
Peoples moral is sinking… how many times can someone’s home get flooded ??
We are so blessed.. our house is out of danger zone.. I can’t leave the settlement with my car, but who cares, we are dry and safe.

Is it really flooded?Glad you are safe! I got to the uni this morning and didn’t see any trace of flooding. Perhaps it skipped the western area, like last time. I haven’t checked the Night Bazaar yet, either.
I agree with you: it’s pretty depressing - especially for the people whose property was damaged again.
And it just started pouring again, at this very moment. I hope you are safe and dry, wherever you are!
Okay, I take it back - the western side is now flooded! That downpour I just wrote about, it created small rivers on the streets on campus. Gotta take the fins to get back home…
