This article, breaks my heart. Asian kids in general are being pushed beyond endurance. Education IS important but..
The Nation writes about a 17 year old boy who commited suicide because of his bad grades. After reading the article its a wonder he didn’t shoot his mother.

I feel sorry for Korean kids–they work so hard, take so many lessons after school, they are sleep-deprived, and they are under incredible pressure from their parents to achieve, even the elementary students. It seems very unhealthy. I didn’t realize it was like this in Thailand, too.
So sad…seems like all the blog posts I have been reading today are along the same lines…the pressures, expectations, contraints that drive people crazy.
