Heres a snap shot of th some other things you can buy at the market around Loi Kratong.
The bucket with things for the monks, lanterns and the brown balls are …. hmmm.. no idea what you call them. Fireworks? When you light them a fountain of sparkels come out. ( my english is going from bad to worse !arrrrggghhhh)
ANYWAY.. I bought those stars and have them hung up infront of the house. Want to buy some white ones for christmas. You can put a tee candle in them and it looks so pretty.

Yes, fireworks if they sparkle and firecrackers if they make an ear-splitting noise when they explode.
Those stars are beautiful! I can just imagine how the white ones would look with tea lights.
