On the south part of the mote there is a lovely park. Even though the city traffic is quite loud, its still like an oasis in the city. Like everywhere in Thailand there are food stalls and drinks for sale. Children enjoy feeding the fish in the ponds, playing on the playground and rollerblading. A great place to spend a sunday evening with friends !

I spent a lovely long weekend in Chiang Mai in December – what a wonderful place! I could wander the area by the moat for weeks and never get bored.
