poetry in chiang mai??!!!
Feb 4th, 2006 by Lillian
Don’t worry this isn’t going to turn into a poetry blog.. but sometimes there really isn’t anything interesting to write about!
I just spent 40 min in the car trying to get to Thapae gate. I’ve lived here too long, so walking somewhere is really not something that comes to mind immediately. ALL the roads in the moat are blocked off and there are many beautiful (I’m sure…) flower parades. I wanted to meet a friend at Starbucks.. but alas.. I couldn’t even find a place to park my car. After all the detours, waiting in traffic etc….I finally got to Bake and Bite at Chang Klang road. I could have walked from there.. only 10 mins walk. But who waits for someone who is 60 mins late? unfortunatly Mr. Travel doesn’t have a mobile phone.. So I’m back home. Lets hope he’s not one of those people who would have waited an hour… According to murpheys law he probably is one in a million who would !!arrrrgggghhhh.

You know, according to Murphey’s Law, he’s already one in a million who doesn’t have a cellphone. So, chances are, he probably have waited an hour for you….
lol.. well, it was even better.. he arrived 30 min late at the WRONG Starbucks and then only waited a few mins. But thanx to msn, we made a new appointment and actually met… at the RIGHT Starbucks. Mr. V is a very nice person and we will see more of him tomorrow
Well, then we need to scrap Murphey’s Law. :p
