My Thailand Diary

I was talking with a friend of mine who is suffering from allergies. She went to see her doctor like 3 times in 2 weeks.The doctor said that he has never had so many people come in because of allergies as this year. I know so many kids who are suffering from the bad air. Is it the traffic? NO its the burning ! People burn everything here. Plastic, rubbish bags, old tires etc. There is a law against it and I’ve even seen fire engines put out fires along t he ring road. But most get away with it. I wish this law could be enforced more ! But hey.. its not top priority of the Thai government right now, I know. But to those who have allergies, its become a very difficult thing to live with.
