.. Hillary Clinton. Thats what a Thai lady at the gym told me the other day. Honestly !!! Khun N. and I usually chat a bit and laugh alot. She didn’t really understand why I don’t like being compared to a 59 year old American woman. No, I told her, I’m not American. I asked her if she can’t hear the different accents when someone speaks english. No, she said. I said, well when farang speaks thai, can’t you hear where they are from? Again, no. She said farang are farang and she can’t tell a difference.( btw.. this lady was married to a farang!)
Anyway… Later I asked her why she only did 20 sit-ups. ”there are no cute farang men watching”. My turn to laugh.

People here have told me I look like Julie Andrews and Mia Farrow. In my dreams!! I would kill to look like either one of them but the only similarity is hair color.

You probably don’t even have to go to the gym, unless you enjoy it of course.
Maybe it’s similar to us (Caucasian-looking people) not being able to tell many Asian nations appart by their appearance. I seriously struggle with that. I can never tell whether someone is Korean or Japanese or Mongolian.
But maybe you’ve mastered that one since living in Thailand.
Well anyway I wouldn’t worry, Hillary Clinton might be the only other blond Caucasian she knows
