I never thought I’d have to re- learn so much. Helping my daughter study for her tests is a challenge, especially German. I don’t even know the rules anymore which means to test her, I have to refresh my memory. Someone said, well thats good isn’t? I guess… Here are two rules I learnt yesterday… for all you German speakers, remember?
For all the other nationalities I just hope you are really really impressed. lol
Das Plusquamperfekt wird gebildet mit einer Form von haben oder sein plus Partizip 2.
Das Plusquamperfekt wird verwandelt wenn mann in der Vergangenheit erzählt und etwas in der Vergangenheit passiert ist und abgeschlossen wurde.
So, now you remember?? Yes, I learnt that rule about 20 years ago and I hated it just as much as I hate those rules today. What have I done wrong in my life that I have to study german grammer with my daughter??

I have NEVER been able to use the plusquamperfect properly. If I am taking a test and I know the point of the question is to use the plusquamperfect then I can do it, but to actually spontaneously use it properly in conversation? Ack!
Man kann’s auch den anderen Weg herum erledigen und tamilisch lernen.
Der Tolkappiam ist sehr extensiv, was solche Sachen angeht, und ich vermute mal, dass die Grammatik der thailändischen Sprache keinen Deut besser ist.
Aber die deutsche Grammatik ist im Vergleich noch einfach zu verstehen.
