First impression of Switzerland… they do cigarette ads here, look here’s the proof. You never get to see this in Chiang Mai…Yes, we arrived well.. its a long journey and we feel very lost, staying in a town I’ve never been to before in a neighbourhood we don’t know. And we are sooooo tired……..

We have just got back and I am SO tired too! Travelling is hard. But fun! Enjoy your holiday
Welcome! Great to have you here. Hope to see you one day. Looking forward to the 10th in Lucerne. We will be there.
Is this just a holiday break or are you leaving Thailand?
Adam, its abit both.. work and holiday….
I hope the jet-lag is not too bad for you. It is funny that the Swiss allow advertisements for Camel. I think of Switzerland as such a clean country, not one littered with cigarettes. You must all put them out very carefully!
Switzerland IS littered with cigarettes, but, the city maintains a good and efficient cleaning team too. Near 1/3 of the population smokes here.
Luckily, harder times arrive for smokers, as in all of Europe, and now there are some discussions to forbid smoking in some places (mainly public buildings). In some cinemas and in the university it is already forbidden. Also, since October 1st in the building I work. But you should wait at a tram station and see how many butts there are and how many people smoke, is unbelievable.
