living between the worlds

I meet new people, families and singles
some might become close friends
some not
some might visit us some not.
I meet old friends, families and singles
some were close friends
some not
some might visit us some not.
I live between the worlds.
Its hard making friends
but not making friends would be even worse.
Its hard being questioned why we live in Thailand,
why our kids aren’t in thai schools, why we do this and not that…
Living as a foreigner isn-t always easy.
So why do I do it?
Because LIFE just isn’t easy.
Doesn’t matter WHERE I live…
current mood.. I need this pill I have ALL the symptoms….

Come on, keep your head up, put a smile on your face and forget all the worries around you.
Live is too short to be depressed.
And if other people kill your nerves,
just walk away - don’t think of them.
Look at the bright side of your life,
be proud to answer the same old questions,
be proud to give your kids a better education
be proud to be someone special.
You are someone special.
So keep your head up, put a smile on your face and forget all the worries around you.
We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.
Sir Winston Churchill
British politician (1874 - 1965)
I think it doesn’t matter where you are - same principle! Have fun - finding things to give!
