I wonder if they are giving up a lot of revenue that way? The late opening on Mondays is interesting too. If I were a shopkeeper I would definitely want to work in Bern! So when August first fell on a Tuesday the shops closed at 4pm on Monday as if it had been a Saturday! Very hard to remember...
