German Impressions wrote about ‘The Döner Phenomena’. Interestingly there are a couple of Kebab take- always in Bern, Switzerland as well. Döner Kebab is a Turkish dish and made with mutton. I had one in Switzerland and it was delicious. I’d take a Kebab over McDonnalds any-day. I’ve seen some ads in Chiang Mai for Kebabs.. When I’ve tried them out I’ll let you know what they are like… if you don’t hear from me for a long time… just wait for me to come back lol

Döner in Thailand sounds kinda dodgey to me though.
Kebabs really are taking over the world! I read about them at the Noodlepie blog and he is in France. I know they started life as a late night European snack, but I agree with you that they are much tastier than McDonalds if you need a quick meal.
We eat Doenner alot - the place we go to even gives us extra for Small Boy at no extra charge! Much better on the run than McDonald’s for sure, and I don’t feel guilty about Small Boy eating it!
