For a friend with a broken heart
Sep 17th, 2006 by Lillian
He looks across the bar and catches her eye
and can’t help him self
he has to smile.
She is so different.
Her skin is color mocha and wrinkle free
Her black hair falls down her back
Where ever she goes, heads turn and eyes follow her.
A longing is stirred, he misses her so much
why did she have to be such a difficult person
egoistic beyond normal, raged with jealousy.
Controlling his life, making it unbearable to live with her.
And still
and still
he loves her, and probably always will.
