My Thailand Diary

That was or is one of my biggest frustrations at the moment. I only understand 50 % Thai TV. Its so frustrating. I hate relying on translations and feel that I only get a censured version of what everyone else is hearing. OK, I HAVE to phone Khun Khru (Mrs. Teacher ) and take some more lessons…. Why can’t I just absorb Thai simply by living here? Couldn’t someone insert a language chip in my brain with a complete knowledge of Thai? Gosh, space science doesn’t help me, but something like this sure would !!
btw schools are open again. Wonder if the soldiers will still be in town today. Maybe I can get a picture of a cute soldier and me infront of a tank.. hahahaha
