Tuesday

Thanx everyone for your kind comments. We still don’t really know how the snake came in, probably just over the balcony under the screen door. My Son10 had a hard time falling asleep last night but once he was asleep he was fine. I got up a couple of times in the night to check, not that expect there to be a snake again. Those sort of years happen once every 10 years (I hope) … At least my Son10 has a great story to tell when he is older. One of those TCK stories :-)
I might go to the snake farm soon. What do you do with fear? Face it, get over it. Maybe the snake farm would help… just thinking about it makes me go dizzy though… And I think we really should get a cat. Our dog isn’t that much help, she just barkes when there is one in the garden. I’ve heard cats actually kill them. That sounds good to me.

i saw the picture. good jesus. is that a poisonous snake? i’m glad noone was hurt. snake farm sounds a mighty brave and smart thing to do, learn to respect rather than fear, though it is hard. i highly respect (ugghhh fear) snakes.

Agree with facing your fear is the best way to get rid of it. :) Plus having cats around would also help. :)

    Hier gibts Infos… Schweizer Giftschlangen

A cat – or two – or three … they don’t eat much and the peace of mind they afford is well worth it.

Facing your fears is the best way to overcome them. Going to the snake farm is a good idea. If you get to handle a snake that would be even better.
I had a fear of snakes but have now overcome it. I probably wouldn’t cuddle one, but I don’t have nightmares about them anymore :)

Haddock, Korbua, please, there is NO WAY I’m going to a snake farm… or or maybe maybe it IS the only way…
Richard, Mänu, the cat will have to wait.. our dog has to do a better job at chasing snakes

Wow, Lillian and her 10 year old son made it into the Swiss Newspaper HEUTE! How are you sleeping? I hope you’re recovering from the shock and life goes back to normal. Love, Mum
