Tennis in Basel

Last night I watched the end of the Tennis match. Federer vs. Srichaphan. Federer won, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (7/5) Paradorn actually made it HARD for Federer ! I was a bit torn about who I should cheer for.. and Paradorn won my respect and I really wish he would have won. Good luck to Paradorn at Paris next week !!

Interesting that you had “dividing loyalties.” I get them too when Swiss and US teams or players match up - although I’m such a Federer fan it doesn’t happen much in tennis, but in other sports. Especially downhill skiing. I’ve been meaning to write about this feeling. It was good to see Federer finally win his home tournament!
