Drinking water in Chiang Mai

I was talking to someone who is new in Chiang Mai and she was so surprised that we ONLY drink bottled water. So, yes, we only drink bottled water. This is how it gets delivered to our house, once a week.

That’s crazy if you think about it. In Malaysia our house had a big filter in the front and then a multiple filter with UV attached to the tap. I realise that a lot of people here in the UK drink bottled mineral water too.
Tja, den ersten Tag als ich hier war hatte ich das auch schon wieder vergessen und hab doch tatsächlich einfach den Wasserhahn aufgedreht und wollte gerade mein volles Glas lecker Leitungswasser trinken als meine Mitbewohnerin mich fragte ob ich mich umbedingt schon am ersten Tag krank machen muss…ach ja…geht ja hier nicht…ups…

No J, the water isn’t safe.Doesn’t get purifed well enough.
Big bottles. It is almost the same system in the Philippines but our bottles are not that big! It look a bit heavy to handle.
