Petrol Stations open after 10pm
Nov 29th, 2006 by Lillian
Did you know that since mid 2005 all the petrol stations were closed from 10pm- 5 am? I never mentioned it, did I, hmmmm…. the Taksin Shinawatra goverment thought this would be a good way of
reducing fuel usage…. well, aren’t we glad that the Engery Ministry
doesn’t agree
This has made travelling at night quite difficult for a couple of people I know. Now, all the petrol stations should be open 24 hours . The new energy saving plan included time limits on huge billboard signs. Now that makes so much more sense to me !
btw.. martial law has been lifted over 40 provinces. Chiang Mai is NOT included….

Do you find your daily life affected a lot by the martial law? What does that mean for you?
Swissmiss, I asked myself the same thing and am abit embarressed to say that it doesn’t effect me at all…Should it effect me?I have no idea…
I’m more than happy that they finally decided to open after 10 pm.
hahaha otherwise I would have to push my car back home.
I’m glad it doesn’t affect you. I wasn’t sure if martial law would mean curfews and closed roads or things like that. Strange that doesn’t seem to make a difference, though
