My Thailand Diary

A quick update for my friends in Ireland… Its 7.33 am, and I’m drinking coffee which I bought for a great price at the Kasem Shop on Nimmenheimen Road. The temperature is 18 C, its a little foggy. The forecast for today is sunshine and temperatures up to 31 C.  The burning season has started and instead of complaining about it, we have joined the rest of the nation. Behind our house, we made a lovely fire last night. This morning the smoke smell doesn’t seem so bad… haha
Traffic in  Chiang Mai has never been so bad. There are sooo many big buses, which always seem to have to travel in a ‘group’. So often I have to w a i t till 3-4 of those buses drive onto the main road. grrrrr. Around Airport Plaza, there is a a constant traffic jam. Someone said its almost as bad as bangkok. But hey, we know our way around and there are many little sois where you can drive to avoid traffic

btw.. thanx for all the nice comments for my hubby and son. They are both doing much better and we are all fine. My ears have recovered too. Now.. where are those ear plugs for next time I go out??
