Caring for others…

Once upon a time a man asked someone to carry a stone from one village to the other. He willingly agreed to do this as the stone wasn’t too heavy and the job not to difficult. As he was walking alone, he met a woman who asked him to take his stone as well, seeing he was already headed for the same direction. The man agreed and carried both stones. Not too long later he met another person who was also walking in the same direction. He asked the man who was carry two stones if he wouldn’t please carry his stone as well. The man agreed. Many hours later he arrived at his destination, sore, weary and totally exhausted. As he delivered his stone he got angry and said ‘Why did you give me such a difficult task. I’m so worn out and exhausted its not fair.”
” I only asked you to carry one stone” was the answer he got.
A friend of mine told me a story something like this a week or two ago. I’m like that that man. I carry burdens that are not mine to carry. Sometimes its not easy to know which ones to carry, and which ones not to carry.

A very challenging story! Have a good week and choose wisely which burden to carry. Love, Mum
