- Three people die and 60 people injured early sunday morning when two trains collided near Hua Hin. here
- A Buddhist man was beheaded and his wife murdered by suspected Muslim insurgents in the southern part of Thailand. A handwriten note apparently said :”we will kill all Thai Buddhists..” more here
- This article on BBC talks about new proposals which tighten Foreign Business Act that regulates ownership of Thai companies …and that Investors dislike uncertainty and the message that Thailand’s leaders are sending right now is that they don’t know what they want.
- School in Udom Ratchathani has been target of two suspected arson attacks in one week. more here

Ofcourse here is alot more news. These are just four stories that really struck me and cause me to wonder what this year will bring to this country.
