People have asked me if its safe to travel to places near the Andaman Sea. Ha ha!! If I were more prophetic I would tell you the dates and strength of the next earthquakes and tsunamis. But , seeing I do not have this revelation I just go by what everyone else says.

I read in BBC news yesterday ….
Thai tsunami resorts await tourists. Apparently Au Nang a town near Krabi that we’ve been to more than once, is lacking tourists. The beach is sooo beautiful. From Au Ngan you can take a boat for day trips, to the most beautiful islands. I’d love to go back there ! I’d probably not go to a resort right on the beach. Although, a friend of ours was just down there and stayed at the Golden Beach Resort and loved it.
We went to Krabi in rainy season. It did rain a lot but because we stayed at a really nice resort called Tipa Resort , we had a pool which the kids could use, even in the rain. Just thinking about how beautiful Au Nang is makes me want to go and visit!! Wäre schon wenn die Dietschi- Family wieder mit kommen würde!!
