Yesterday my Son6 broke 5 fingers at school. He was sort of sliding under the table, holding on to the edge, and the table tipped and fell right on his figures. Luckily I was at the school and immediately took him to a clinic. The doctor wasn’t in so I went to Ram2 hospital. We saw Assist. Prof. Dr.
Kanit Sananpanich, M.d. He saw the fractures that that Dr. at the xRay room had missed. He answered all my questions and didn’t seem upset by them which I appreciated very much and don’t take for granted anymore.
So now, my poor boy has three broken fingers on the left and two on the right. He’s still in quite a bit of pain and has to adjust to not being able to use his hand. Poor boy. As it was happening he thought he had lost his fingers and he’s so glad he still has them. Deep stuff for a 6 year old to have to deal with. (btw…I’m a bit mad at the teacher. She didn’t help me carry my son to the car or offer help of any kind or call in the evening and ask how he’s doing… You’d think if a child gets hurt during your class, you’d somehow be moved…hmmm….)
At the hospital.. again…

Hey, sorry to hear about that. All the best to your son. Looks very uncomfortable. Quite lucky with the daughetr’s school, they really take this kind of thing seriously. If a kid is hurt in any way the parents are notified, even if just to let them know.
Poor boy (and poor mum) ! What an unfortunate accident! But his fingers will heal and we wish him all the best while he is waiting for that. We are thinking of you all and wish we could visit you! Love to you all.
aww poor him… i hope he’s gonna be ok soon.
Just for the record, the teacher called today. I told her I was disappointed and she explained why she reacted the way she did. Mum was in control, a nurse, knew what to do which was all true too…. It was good. We were able to clear things. Talking things out helps !!
ouch, 5 fingers ! hope your little boy gets well soon …
Ouch! I’d've been in total panic…hope he’s feeling better now.
I didn’t see this post before. Just wanted to add my good wishes for a speedy recovery for your little boy. That looks very painful. I hope he will at least get excused from some writing assignments for a while!
