Chinese Compass…
Mar 19th, 2007 by Lillian

I was at Central Airport Plaza this morning, getting some gifts for friends and family. I had my Son6 with me, who is still home because of his broken fingers. So, I had to be really fast because he gets quite bored…. Anyway, as I was running through the stalls at the ‘Northern Village’ … I found this beautiful, old chinese compass. Unbelieveable detail. I just couldn’t resist buying it. I’ll wrap it and give it to my hubby this evening.I’m sure he will love it.

Thank you Lillian. What a nice surprise to get a gift just like this. I like it very much. It’s a cool present.
I’ve never seen anything like them … beautiful.

awww and ur hubby likes the compass u gave him too…
My wife bought just the same sort of compass for my recent birthday, she found it in Stanley Market, Hong Kong. Originally thought it was a navigation tool until I researced it on the net to find it was in use over two thousand years ago as a Geomancy tool. It now has pride of place in our “Oriental Corner” alongside various Buddha figures.
Thanx for dropping by David. Thanx for the info !
