Goodbyes hurt
I knew it was coming
But still I wasn’t ready
I couldn’t say the things I wanted to say
Tears came, couldn’t hold them back
My heart hurts, I can’t sleep.
I feel like numbing the pain
but there is no anaesthesia strong enough
There are no words that comfort me
There are no songs that reach me.
I’m alone
in the end,
Always alone
