What to do with kids in Bangkok 2
Apr 12th, 2007 by Lillian
Vist the tallest building in Thailand !! The Baiyoke Tower II with its 85 stories and 305 meters high. I got a bit worried about the lift and said I’d take the stairs… well… it would have taken me 60 mins to get to the top, so I took the lift after all. Sometimes I just worry about things like maintenance etc. First stop was the 77th floor which had big windows, general directions and explanations of what you could see.
The view was really stunning !

There were some touristy things on that floor and we got some family photos of all of us on a tuk tuk… fun. To go further up we took another lift to the 83rd floor where the bar is and so it was time for refreshments.

Last stop, was the ‘observation’ floor, well protected with high fences. Again, a great view of Bangkok. The kids all enjoyed seeing the little cars, ‘little’ building and on some houses we even saw people swimming. Fun
I’d definitely do this again.

Took the daughter to the top last year, she really enjoyed it. There were some life size plastic monsters on the steps to the top from the restaurant which freaked her out a bit though.
went there with a friend… did u hav lunch there? hope u didn’t coz the food is pretty crapy.
the view from up there is absolutely pretty. it’s amazing that bangkok goes as far as ur eyes could see. just amazing…
glad u had a gud time there too.
Haha…schau mal auf meinen alten Thailandblog. Da sieht du genau die selben Bilder wie bei Euch- der selbe Tower und auch ein Glas über Bankog.
War auch da…was toll!

I was up there a couple years ago. Did you get a small bowl of popcorn along with your drink? I did.
Hi J, no we didn’t get popcorn
Rahel ! ja habe nachgekuckt.. du warst auch dort.. cool.
Allie and Max… you both have a point. Foodstalls everywhere, the smell of food EVERYWHERE is sometimes abit too much.. but yes I shouldn’t worry to much …
