Name five things you love in your new country:

1. The warm weather
2. I can get a take away for 20 Baht per meal. Why cook?
3. Fresh fruits all year round
4. Living cross culturally
5. Au Nang, Railey beach..
Name four things that you miss from your native country. (I’ll just take Switzerland to make it easier)

1. My friends and my family, watching my nieces and nephews grow up
2. Freedom of speech
3. Understanding the language, everywhere , all the time…
4. Fresh swiss air

Name three things that annoy you a bit (or much) in your new country:

1. The ‘mai pen rai’ attitude towards so many things…
2. Motorbikes in Chiang Mai. Dangerous, fast,they often wear no helmet… scary and I’m always worried I’ll hit one with my car..
3.People presume I’m rich because I’m white… find annoying that white=rich.
Name two things that surprise you (or surprised you in the beginning) in your new country:

1. The sheer obsession of people here, to touch my back then small,white, blond children when we first arrived.
2. The price of imported food ! Just didn’t expect it to be so high.

Name one thing that you would miss terribly in your new country, if you had to leave it:

1. All my friends.
