A Lahu Wedding

Yesterday my husband and I attended the wedding of our Lahu friend. After a 3 hour drive, without a break we arrived in the village. Perfect timing as the bride was coming out of her house looking all beautiful. The wedding ceremony was held in the village church and was alot like western wedding. After the ceremony everyone was invited to a meal of rice, mixed vegetables, chicken and a pork and vegi dish. I wish the bride and her husband all the best and love that lasts through better and worse

I am a frequent traveler to Chaing Mai…as they say here in USA, I lost my heart in Chiang Mai……Its such a lovely place, very casual and naturally quaint…I wish I could retire early..BUT WHEN I DO RETIRE, CHian Mai will be on top of the list….
