Farang going to the hairdresser

Going to the hairdresser here is a different experience than in Switzerland. For a start, you enter a shop and say what you want, haircut, highlights etc etc. Before you can sit down or before you even know who of those 4 people will cut your hair, your are lead to a the ‘washing hair’ section. Usually located at the back of the salon. There you get your hair washed and scrubbed and washed again. Sometimes it hurts they get so carried away. Then, with a towel on your head you get lead to the chair, in front of a big mirror. The lady who washes your hair and the one who cuts it is never the same person. Now you get asked what sort of a hair cut you’d like. Women with short hair often leave with a totally different haircut than expected. I just met a lady with a new hair style. She said she had shown the same picture of what she wants both times.. wow.. two different haircuts from the same picture ! Long hair is easy, they can’t really do much wrong !
After the cut comes the blow drying. In some places they make curly hair straight. They stretch and stretch the hair while the are blow drying.
The result, is beautiful

I often get two women blowdrying my hair. My head doesn’t know which direction to go they tug so hard at it from both sides!! And yes, I always leave with beautifully straight hair
