I got tagged by LOE.Its been hard to do this meme.. music is a powerful memory trigger and it took me to some memories I didn’t really want to go to.Thanx Max haha. Here goes…
5 - You’re going on a long journey, what five albums MUST you take with you? Albums that you need to listen to regularly.
Five for Fighting, Two lights Just enjoy this CD alot at the moment..
Joshua Kadison, Delilah Blue A CD I always have with me..
Vaya Con Dios, Night Owls
Fathers House, Brian Doerkson.
Corinne Bailey Rae.. I just got this one for my birthday and if I went on a journey I would take this one along. I haven’t had time to listen to it..
4 - What four albums/songs do you most associate with a journey or travel experience? You know, the ones you listen to that instantly transport you back to a place and time.
All for one and one for all…- from The Three Musketeers movie. Philippines, in a refugee camp after the Mt. Pinatubo erupted. Poverty, sickness, air filled with volcanic ashes, playing volleyball with the people. This song kept being played on the radio.. I can smell that camp, everytime I hear the song..
Take me home country roads.- I was about 9 years old, this song blasted out of a little 30-cm by 15 cm tape player , or someone playing it on their guitar, sitting on the grass, nice breeze, watching the college students play basket ball,Remember thinking I don’t want to go home, I AM home. Today I hate this song. I cringe when I hear it for a karaoke bar… strange.. why do I hate it if I have such fond memories.. oh well, lets move on.
Vaya Con Dios Something got a hold of me.-Singing and dancing in an apartment in Hamburg, Germany. I was very much in love when I listened to this song.
Flaming Pie Paul McCartney.- My husband and I travelled to Spain in the year 1997 and we listened to this cd all the time. I can smell the beach, remember the children then 3 and 1 yrs old , swimming enjoying running around naked on the beach. Long summer nights drinking local wine. LOTS of local wine and sweet love.
3 - Your three favorite songs of all time?
U2 I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
This is your song Elton John
Whenever I say your name Sting
2 - Two feel good songs, the ones that are guaranteed to lift the blues and put a smile on your face.
Sloop John B- Beach Boys.. An old old song but it always lifts the blues:-)
You are the one that I want from the Greace CD…always makes me smile
1 - Absolute, overall, undoubtedly the best album of all time, in your opinion.
U2 All that you can’t leave behind.
So now you know
Ask me again in a year, might change !
I’d like to know what sort of music moves Adam ,
Chris and Ange and Steini’s Garden

Interesting. As with some of the other people I tagged you’ve thrown up some interesting music, and some I’m looking forward to giving a listen to for the first time. Sorry about any painful trips down memory lane. Cheers!
Cool! Great fun - will give me something to think about today and I’ll post this afternoon… Some great tunes listed here Lillian, I desperately need to listen to U2 right now!
Those are interesting questions and reading your answers I was surprised to find that I couldn’t come up with the answers immediately. Will complete the meme later today.
