Weekend and Party time
Jun 22nd, 2007 by Lillian
I got a babysitter cos my husband is travelling, and then after a couple of sms I found a nice guy who is kind enough to go to a party with me tonight. We are going to dance. Lets hope it will be fun! And tomorrow morning, I will get up at 6.30 and get my kids ready for school and go back to bed and sleep. No its not a spelling mistake the cdsc (German school) has school on every other Saturday. Sucks doesn’t it? But lets not talk about school… I’m going to a party la-di-da-di . And u? Doing anything fun this weekend?

Anything fun? Hmm, that’s a good question. I don’t usually know until I’m actually DOING it! I dont’ have anything planned but maybe something will look worth doing. My butt hurts after a long couple days of motorcycle riding. I’m probably going to max out my internet use of DTAC’s EDGE system - sound exciting? I might take a trip to Swensons to get some mango and cantalope scoops. Mmmm. I might get a battery for the Mio since it’s dying and I have to use manual kick-start -the auto doesn’t work anymore… Hmm, anything else planned? I’m going to see if there’s any decent pizza in this town. It’s been about 4 months since I had any decent ZA! Where do you live? Any decent pizza in that town?

Great Pizza shop at Ratchadamoen Road, Chiang Mai called Ko Lanta.Next to writers club… You can watch the owner make the pizza and the wooden oven does that trick. Yummy !!! Check it out.. and say I sent you. You might get an extra smile !
It’s the annual Stadtfest in Dullsville Saturday and Sunday so I guess we’ll be taking a look. The schools here used to do the Saturday thing too - I’m not sure when they stopped. They also recently changed from 13 years to 12 years of school in total for children attending the Gymnasium. How many years will your kids have to attend at their school?
How was the party?!
Christina, they changed it from 13 to 12 as well..the school does a 10 day thing, monday-sat, sunday free, monday to thursday then 3 days free..
Matt.. it was a little bit disappointing because I didn´t get to dance 2 more than 2 songs, not everyone invited turned up and I had to leave early. But the people who came were interesting and I enjoyed meeting some ´new´ people in Chiang Mai.
Tons of plans, some of which are being washed away by the rain as I type. Baseballs games today (if they’re not rained out), dinner in Cologne with my Meetin Cologne group this evening, a cycling event tomorrow (www.taltotal.de) - if it’s not raining, and a bbq on the Rhein tomorrow evening (that we’ll probably have to move indoors).
I don’t see a tag.
